Kmart is recalling a kids smart watch over fears the unsecured batteries could cause serious injury.

The square shaped Anko brand smart watch comes in multiple colours with a rubber wristband and black glass face.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said the watch doesn't comply with mandatory safety standards and the watch's back compartment isn't secure enough to stop kids reaching the button battery.
Unsecured batteries are a unsafe for young kids. If swallowed, they can be a choking hazard or cause internal burn injuries or death.

ACCC advises consumers to immediately put the watch out of reach of children and return the device to the nearest Kmart or Khub for a full refund.
